It all started in 1991 in Victoria as a savvy solution to a longstanding problem - dead batteries were the most common reason for roadside assistance calls. That inspired a revolutionary idea to make battery replacement easy and mobile. Our pilot program with the RACV soon expanded to include the NRMA, RAC and RACT by 2001, and a few years later extending to include AANT, RAA and RACQ. Our pioneering roadside battery program went global and was adopted by motoring clubs across New Zealand (AA NZ) and North America (AAA). Today, we're proud to stand with all our motoring club partners along with the more than 66 million motor members worldwide as their preferred expert in batteries and service.
Now three decades on, we're a leading battery supplier and have learned a lot about solving energy storage problems for Australian businesses. We've partnered with Australian business to build a battery program bespoke to their business needs. We are the go-to battery expert providing expert ranging advice, technical support and sales training to maximise the revenue potential in our customers battery businesses.
