Peter MacCuspie was appointed Non-Executive Chair in April 2017. Mr MacCuspie is a professional director and senior executive who has experience in a wide range of industries including finance, information technology, professional services, Agribusiness and the not for profit sector.
Some of his former directorships include Big Sky Financial Services, Intelematics Europe and the Australian Medic Alert Foundation. He is currently an independent director on the Boards of agribusiness Dodgshun Medlin, IT company Strategic Data and the health insurer CBHS where he also Chairs the Audit and Risk committee.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma of Management from AGSM and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Michael Gabriel was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in August 2016.
Michael is responsible for ensuring the NRMA reaches its financial and business targets through the Group’s business performance, risk, property and tax & treasury functions.
Before joining the NRMA, Michael was General Manager Corporate Finance at Woolworths, where he was responsible for resource and capital prioritisation, group planning and budgeting and managing finance transformation.
Before his time at Woolworths, Michael was the Finance Director of Diageo in Australia and NZ, after working for Diageo in senior finance and supply chain roles across Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Michael is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA). He holds an MBA from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry and Physics from the Queensland University of Technology.
Glenn is responsible for the broader Assistance and Lifestyle businesses at RACQ. He leads a large team across these disciplines providing members with a diverse range of core products including roadside assistance, home assistance, motoring, travel agency, lifestyle, recovery and incident management businesses. He is responsible for the 24/7 operations of RACQ and a range of commercial motoring businesses.
He has 30 years extensive commercial experience in assistance, operations and logistics. He is Chairman of RACQ Autoglass Pty Ltd, a Director of Australian Club Consortium Pty Ltd and ACC CAD Pty Ltd. Glenn is also Chairman of the Corporate Advisory Board for the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors.
Mark Geraghty is Executive General Manager, Membership for RACV.
Mark is responsible for the strategic direction of this new division, which includes Enterprise Programs and Adoption, Member Service Delivery, Design and Digital Experience, Brand Marketing and Technology. Additionally, his division is responsible for the delivery of the new CRM platform and associated business processes.
His previous positions at RACV include GM of Motor Insurance and GM of RACV Salary Solutions, where he led the successful divestment of the business. Mark has been with the organisation for just over 4 years. Before joining RACV, Mark held general manager roles at Elders Limited, Stuart Alexander and Roche Consumer Health, with a focus on sales, marketing, strategy and supply chain.
Mark is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and also holds a Master of Commerce and Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of NSW.
Ian Stone was appointed Managing Director in August 2009 and formerly CEO from August 2007.
Ian has extensive senior management experience and expertise in the motor, home and health insurance industry.
He is a Director of RAA Insurance Ltd and various Australian automotive associated entities.
Phil Turnbull is currently the Executive General Manager, Motoring & Mobility for RACV.
He is responsible for the businesses of Roadside Assistance, Motor Insurance, Salary Solutions and other motoring products and services. In previous RACV roles, Phil has managed home services, the call centre, marketing, e-business and retail outlet functions, as well as the Financial Services Company. He also sits on a number of RACV subsidiary Boards.
He holds the qualification of Bachelor of Science, majoring in Statistics and Pure Mathematics. His business experience includes senior positions in the financial services, telecommunications and research industries.
Phil has also represented the Life Insurance Industry as the Convenor of the Marketing Committee of Life Insurance Federation of Australia.
Emma Harrington was appointed CEO NRMA Motoring and Membership in July 2020 after holding the position of Chief Customer Officer for two years. In this role she was responsible for the customer transformation of the NRMA Group of businesses, she led the growth of the NRMA Membership and subscription business, established and chaired the NRMA Data Stewardship Committee, and led the NRMA in winning the prestigious CX Team of the Year award and CX Leader of the Year award in 2019.
In her new role as the NRMA’s first female CEO, Emma leads the iconic motoring and membership business building on the legacy from the past 100 years to create a strong and sustainable business for generations of NRMA members to come. Building on the strong foundations of roadside assistance and advocating for motorists, Emma adapts a customer-led approach to focus on growth, continually improving the customer experience and adding more value to members, and looking to the future of mobility in Australia which includes our electric vehicle business.
Emma is passionate about people, and creating a collaborative, inclusive and human-centred culture. Part of her commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace has seen her become the Executive Sponsor for the NRMA’s first LGBTQI employee-led network.
Before joining the NRMA, Emma held both national and overseas roles for major organisations; most recently she was the Director of Wholesale and Distribution at Foxtel, Australia’s largest subscription business. Prior to that she was Group Head of Data and Commercialisation for Seven West Media and Managing Director and Acting CEO for Yahoo7.
Emma holds a Bachelor of International Relations (BA Hons) from Kent University, England and a Master of Arts in Political Science from York University, Toronto, Canada.
